Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Portland, Maine.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Maine.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Level IV NICU experience required.
  • BLS certification.
  • RRT required.
  • NRP for NICU.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • NICU/PICU cardiothoracic experience preferred.
