We are seeking a highly skilled Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist to join our team at Naval Surface Warfare Center, IHD.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in explosive ordnance disposal and be able to develop and revise EOD information sets, devise detailed procedures for EOD technicians, and develop specific tests and write test plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide EOD subject matter expertise to develop and revise EOD information sets.
  • Develop detailed step-by-step procedures for EOD technicians to render safe and dispose of specific munitions items or weapons systems.
  • Develop specific tests and write test plans; prepare draft manuals; and coordinate and resolve publication changes resulting from validation.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal School at Eglin Air Force Base.
  • Must have at least six (6) years of experience as a military active-duty EOD Technician.
  • Must be a U.S.A Citizen.
  • An Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications
  • 20 or more years (Active or Reserve) of military EOD experience.
  • Awarded the Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal badge from respective Service.
