About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with All Ways Caring HomeCare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals in their homes. Our team is dedicated to maximizing dignity, privacy, and independence for our clients, and we are seeking a skilled and empathetic nurse to join our ranks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and indirect care to clients in their home environment, adhering to our organization's policies and procedures.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist clients in health maintenance and disease prevention to enhance their ability to live independently at home.
• Direct the efforts of caregivers when involved in the client's plan of care.
• Perform administrative and/or field/clinical responsibilities, receiving oversight and clinical direction from a Registered Nurse, as per state regulations.
Requirements:
• Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Experience in administering medications.
• One or more years of nursing experience preferred.
• Home health care experience preferred.
• Current and unrestricted license in the state of operation.
• CPR professional certification.
• Basic clinical skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• General knowledge of computers and the ability to learn industry-specific software and documentation applications.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to details.
• Capable of working responsibly with highly confidential information.
• Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to develop critical thinking skills, research situations, solve complex problems, and deal with a variety of issues.
• Ability to learn and complete various educational and position-specific goals.
