Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Manage the facilities department to support the overall goals of the plant, ensuring that all facilities-related activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement methods to improve the efficiency of plant utilities and production processes, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the plant meets all relevant regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local agency regulations.
  • Capital Budgeting: Develop and administer the capital and expense budget for the plant, ensuring that all expenditures are aligned with the company's strategic plan.
  • Team Management: Support the personal development of all facilities department associates, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Five to seven years of maintenance or utility management experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Certifications: Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, experience with Oracle EAM or other computerized maintenance management systems, and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information.
