POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Guest Services Attendant is highly regarded at Shore Lodge. If you possess a genuine passion for service and are known for your friendly and engaging demeanor, this position is tailored for you. The Guest Services team thrives on outdoor activities and takes immense pride in delivering outstanding experiences for our guests. They foster a supportive environment, encouraging one another to exceed expectations in various areas including Valet, Bell, Transportation, and Concierge services. This dedicated team is responsible for crafting memorable service experiences for all visitors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as an ambassador for Shore Lodge / Whitetail, engaging with guests at every opportunity.
- Ensure a 5-Star service level during guests' arrival, stay, and departure; welcome guests and maintain a presence at the entrance when not assisting.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and escort them to their accommodations.
- Provide orientation about Shore Lodge/Whitetail and the surrounding area to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the exterior entry, lobby, and bell staff areas.
- Prepare for Movie Theatre reservations and manage guest services related to movie events.
- Oversee the inventory and cleanliness of the Theatre Concessions area.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of Resort Transportation Vehicles.
- Organize and maintain luggage carts.
- Handle in-room deliveries efficiently.
- Perform valet parking services as needed.
- Fulfill transportation requests for guests within the nearby vicinity.
- Support the Front Office and resort staff as required, assisting all team members within the department.
- Monitor the Game Room and other resort amenities to ensure cleanliness and order.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a service-oriented role is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
