Concierge Job Description

At Shore Lodge Whitetail Club, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest and member experience, providing personalized services, and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate guest needs, including booking reservations, arranging activities, and providing recommendations on local attractions and amenities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors and service providers to ensure seamless execution of guest requests.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including guest information, reservations, and departmental budget tracking.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Guest Services, Front Desk, and Whitetail Club Manager, to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a Forbes/AAA, 3/4 star/diamond service environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Strong Microsoft applications, Outlook, and Internet navigation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain a high degree of organization, and detail orientation.
  • Prior and proven superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, members, coworkers, and external service providers.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and manage stress levels while dealing with customers.
  • Knowledge of the local and regional business and outdoor activities.
  • Post-secondary training in tourism or hospitality is ideal.
  • Knowledge of and previous experience with Agilysys PMS systems and/or Concierge software preferred.
