Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Vascular Technician to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a key member of our Heart & Vascular Specialists department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through diagnostic imaging and vascular laboratory studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic bilateral/unilateral carotid, arterials, and venous studies of upper and lower extremities using ICAVL guidelines.
  • Conduct vascular laboratory studies in accordance with established protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and quality assurance databases.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient scheduling and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technology program (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience in a vascular laboratory (required).
  • RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist or RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer certification (required).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with ABI's, cerebral, abdominal, upper/lower peripheral venous, and arterial imaging (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with US-guided RFA's (preferred).
  • BLS certification (strongly preferred).
