Radiology Technician

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in San Francisco, California.
This is a 40-hour per week position that requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Physician and/or Designee.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in patient medical records.
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination, and inventory, order, and replenish medical supplies and materials.
- Schedule appointments, perform clinical tasks, and complete appropriate forms as required by the department.
- Record lab values and other treatment documentation as required by the department.
- May be responsible for cleaning, processing, sterilizing, and checking instruments.
- Perform computer data entry functions and perform clinical/technical skills specific to the department.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information, and ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to use personal computer, and willingness to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
