Job Title: Registration Clerk

ClearChoiceMD is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Registration Clerk to join our team at our state-of-the-art urgent care center in Williston, VT.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for registering patients, gathering demographic and insurance information, and assisting with financial transactions. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Obtain accurate demographic and insurance information
  • Verify insurance coverage for all patients
  • Process payments, insurance co-pays, and PDRX charges
  • Coordinate patient care and records with other clinic locations
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as photocopying and filing
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a medical practice or retail environment
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel
  • Experience with Athena, DocuTap, and/or When2Work is preferred
Work Environment:

This role operates in a medical office setting and may involve exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Physical Demands:

This position requires prolonged sitting, frequent use of a computer terminal, and occasional lifting of office supplies.
