Job Summary:

  • Provide High-Quality Patient Care:
    • Deliver expert nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
    • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team:
    • Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
    • Communicate patient information and concerns to the healthcare team, promoting a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Ensure a Safe and Efficient Work Environment:
    • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensure:
    • Current Arkansas or Compact State Practical Nurse license in good standing.
  • Experience:
    • Willing to train recent LPN graduate.
    • Previous clinic experience desired.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS required.
  • Other:
    • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
    • Basic computer knowledge required.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation.

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist up to or exceeding 8-10 hours during shift(s).
  • Occasionally requires lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment.
  • Able to push in excess of 150 pound wheelchair with patient.
  • Occasionally lifts patients with assist 125 pounds or more.
  • Spends eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse.
  • Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment.
  • Must be able to handle highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
Work Environment:

This is a position in a clinical setting which is open 8-12 hours a day, up to 365 days a year.

  • Holidays and work during inclement weather may be required.
