About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting our research and development projects, working closely with physicians and other medical personnel to perform diagnostic testing and imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging scanners to obtain high-quality images for data collection and analysis.
  • Use console and peripheral hardware to perform imaging techniques and enter patient and study data.
  • Transfer images from disk to electronic media and maintain accurate records.
  • Work under the general supervision of a designated radiologist, following study protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to achieve research goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in radiology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in MRI technology or a related field.
  • Registration/Certification in MRI with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
Work Environment

This position will take place primarily in a hospital environment, with the possibility of working evenings and weekends.

Compensation

The likely salary range for this position is $26.30/hour - $35.75/hour USD, based on market analysis, experience, and education.
