We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Keller Army Community Hospital in New York. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Orthopedics Knee Simulation program by performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting researchers with data collection.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI scanners to acquire high-quality images for research purposes, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques and software to optimize image quality and ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with physicians and researchers to interpret images, identify abnormalities, and contribute to the advancement of orthopedic knowledge.
- Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and creating a comfortable environment.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical setting.
- Current registration/certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and imaging principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
