Job Title: Skilled MIG Welder

About the Role:
Trotter Workforce is currently seeking an experienced MIG welder to join our team in Riverton, NJ. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using various welding processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out and mark dimensions on materials according to drawings or templates
  • Drill holes in metal and fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds
  • Trim, file, grind, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
  • Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating or warping of parts


Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience as a MIG welder
  • Able to read blueprints and use tape measures
  • Must pass AWS welding test
  • Knowledge of oxy-acetylene and plasma cutter use is a plus
  • Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes
