We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Metal Fabricator to join our team at Trotter Workforce. As a Lead Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for leading metal fabrication projects from start to finish.

About the Job

This is an hourly paid position with an estimated salary of $23.00-$26.00 per hour based on location in Riverton, NJ area and industry standards.

Your primary responsibility will be to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts, products, and equipment using various metalworking techniques such as MIG welding, cutting, bending, and shaping.

You will work closely with our team to ensure that all metal fabrication projects meet high-quality standards and are completed on time.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and performing quality control checks on finished products.

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in metal fabrication, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of blueprints, tape measures, and other measurement tools
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes
  • Knowledge of oxy/acetylene and plasma cutter use a plus
