Job Summary

Wilsonart is seeking a skilled Layup to join our team in Temple, Texas. As a Layup, you will be responsible for creating paint and stain matches per customer specification, operating equipment, and performing other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vacuum off the table before material is laid up.
  • Acquire necessary material needed for each run.
  • Lay up material for production.
  • Prevent pattern defects, crumbs, or dirt in material laid-up.
  • Count patterns of each run delivered to the press.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
  • Knowledge of material quality standards.
  • Ability to identify patterns and finishes.
  • Ability to operate a lift truck.
  • Ability to use a tape measure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of work experience.
  • Ability to lift material or equipment of heavy weight (50-100 lbs).
