Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Performance Algorithms Software and Simulations IPT Leader. As a key member of our Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading a cross-discipline team of engineers in the development and integration of software products, algorithms, and simulations to deliver a production-ready design within a challenging schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-visibility development program, including frequent technical and programmatic interactions with the customer, technical community, platform, and kill chain contractors, and senior Raytheon leadership.
  • Influence the architecture of the system, establishing processes, and aligning RMD program leadership, office of the chief engineer, and multiple IPTs.
  • Manage the development and integration of software products, algorithms, and simulations to deliver a production-ready design within a challenging schedule.
  • Manage the technical and earned value performance of the PASS IPT, manage EAC for the IPT, coordinate with the program managers regarding cost, schedule, and risk and opportunity management.
  • Interact and coordinate with customer community stakeholders, including acquisition and technical groups, to influence and guide the development of program mission requirements.
  • Provide leadership for IPT collaboration with functional partners from Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance, Digital Technologies, and Global Supply Chain.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of Systems Engineering or Software Engineering experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in missile system applications.
  • Experience managing and/or leading cross-disciplined teams in a technical capacity.
  • Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and/or Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience leading in an Agile and DevOps development environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and customers regarding matters of significant importance.
  • Demonstrated ability as an IPTL to drive design and development across the hardware, software, and test organizations.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, time, and resources to consistently meet demanding schedules.

We offer a competitive salary range of $143,000 USD - $287,000 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
