CEI Senior Inspector Job Description

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is seeking a highly skilled CEI Senior Inspector to join our team in Lakeland, FL. As a CEI Senior Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection of construction projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of inspectors to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with project administrators to ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction inspection or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Physical Demands:

This position requires minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds sometimes on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to travel and tour work sites under adverse environmental conditions not limited to loud noise levels, high dust and dirt, and extreme temperature.

Expected Hours of Work:

This position is full-time (40 hours per week). Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing one unpaid hour for lunch each day. While overtime is generally not anticipated, occasional projects or deadlines may necessitate additional hours, compensated according to company policy.
