Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and coordination, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-centered care, prioritizing the needs of our pediatric patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare delivery team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and standards to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric emergency care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 12 months of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting.
  • Strongly prefer 2+ years of experience in Pediatric Emergency Department nursing.
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must be RN licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • CEN/ACLS certification desired.
  • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to display a caring demeanor.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
