Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Execute welding operations to efficiently repair various components.
  • Ensure all work meets established technical standards.
  • Fabricate shipping stands, small tools, workbenches, and other essential items using advanced fabrication techniques.
  • Employ Tig, Mig, Stick, and Sub-arc welding methods as required to fulfill job requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of welding experience.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
  • Willingness to learn machine shop skills; prior experience is advantageous.
  • Basic proficiency in shop mathematics.
  • Familiarity with various metals, their applications, and repair methods.
  • Solid understanding of large component repair processes.
  • Capability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods; must be comfortable with stretching, bending, and climbing in challenging environments.
  • Exposure to loud working conditions.
  • Ability to work in extreme environments, including heat.
  • Basic toolset required; the company will supply certain specialized tools and equipment.
