Position Title: Inventory Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and oversee all inventory lists and stock levels within the Fabrication Shop. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Engineering and Operations.

This role demands the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, emphasizing administration, organization, reporting, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing inventory lists and all orders for the fabrication shop.
  • Reviewing inventory lists for discrepancies and resolving any identified issues.
  • Maintaining an accurate database of fabrication shop components with all relevant details.
  • Updating the Fabrication Management System (FMS) with job-specific information.
  • Transforming inventory lists into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) orders for processing.
  • Converting inventory design files into fabrication files.
  • Collaborating regularly with suppliers, shipping partners, and vendors.
  • Generating reports on various aspects of production or inventory changes.
  • Actively participating in inventory processing in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field is required.
  • Experience within the construction sector is advantageous.
