The Valet Parking Operations Supervisor is crucial in maintaining the highest service standards for clients, leadership teams, and guests. This position requires on-site management of various accounts, leading a team of supervisors, engaging in business development to expand market presence, managing financial documentation, overseeing revenue processes, and implementing strategies to prevent claims.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Management:
- Commit to 40+ hours on-site at designated accounts, supervising multiple locations and guiding a team of supervisors.
- Foster a positive work environment across all locations.
- Regularly update and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and documentation.
- Conduct weekly reviews of employee time records, claimed tips, minimum wage compliance, and vehicle counts, ensuring timely submissions.
- Manage claims prevention, reporting, and revenue collection for assigned accounts.
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with onboarding processes and training requirements for all associates.
- Identify and mentor associates for potential internal promotions.
- Maintain effective communication with both associates and clients.
- Proactively address client needs and exceed expectations in resolving service issues.
- Be available for on-call problem resolution at all times.
- Coordinate bookings, scheduling, and billing for private events as needed.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% may be necessary.
- High school diploma or GED; at least one year of supervisory experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Management or leadership training/certifications are advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required.
- Ability to pass background checks and motor vehicle record assessments.
- Physical capability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient in leading a team.
- Ability to operate a standard (stick-shift) vehicle.
- Regular exposure to various outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- Physically capable of running to and from vehicles multiple times during a shift.
- Frequent movement in and out of various vehicle types.
- Use of personal mobile devices may be necessary for work-related tasks.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
