Hospitality Team Member

We seek a diligent and results-driven individual to join our hospitality team at StepStone Hospitality. As a key contributor, you will focus on maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Main Duties:

  • Prepare and stock your cleaning cart with necessary equipment and supplies for each shift, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deliver essential guest amenities, such as baby cribs, pillows, and extra towels, to guest rooms promptly, fostering a positive experience.
  • Perform various floor maintenance tasks, including stripping, sealing, and waxing, adhering to established procedures and using safety equipment as needed.
  • Restock shelves with paper supplies and room cleaner caddies daily, maintaining a well-organized workspace.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies and deliveries in their designated areas, promoting a clutter-free environment.
  • Maintain and rearrange furniture, turn mattresses, and execute general cleaning tasks as required, ensuring consistency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
  • Create and update daily job lists, recording serviced rooms accurately and efficiently.
  • Regularly inspect equipment and report any malfunctions or damage to management, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a respectful and professional manner, notifying colleagues when necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain motivation levels throughout shifts.
  • Superb communication skills, including smiling and being helpful in interactions with customers.
  • Proven experience in a relevant field, demonstrating ability to adapt to new environments and situations.
  • Professionalism, speed, and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
