Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the software development activities for the DCFS Server Modernization Project, ensuring effective migration of legacy applications to modern Microsoft Servers.
  • Participate in an initial onsite engagement, collaborating closely with the team.
  • Post-initial phase, maintain a flexible onsite presence as required, contributing to the development process.
  • Engage in full-stack development, emphasizing .NET technologies, IIS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Design, test, and implement necessary application modifications, re-platforming, redevelopment, or decommissioning.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives and timelines.
  • Provide strong technical and functional leadership, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer, with a proven track record in leading extensive IT projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in JIRA and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Strong understanding of .NET full-stack development, including Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, focusing on database migration and performance optimization.
  • Expertise in ASP.Net application development, XSLT, JavaScript, and Restful API development.
  • Experience in migrating applications to new hosting environments.

Leadership and Communication Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical and functional leadership, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
