Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Juvenile Justice Specialist I/II. This role is responsible for providing critical services to youth and their families, promoting rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake interviews with juvenile offenders, families, and victims to develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, arrange for health screening, and recommend placement, including out-of-home placement and community reintegration.
  • Prepare reports for the court, District Attorney's office, and Parole Board, and may testify in court as an expert witness.
  • Act as liaison with community resources, courts, and law enforcement entities to ensure effective case management and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specialized areas of treatment, such as HIV/AIDS education, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Abuse Survivors and Sexual Offenders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field, or a bachelor's degree and one year of professional experience in juvenile justice, social work, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field, or a juris doctorate degree, or a master's degree and one year of professional experience in juvenile justice, social work, or a related field.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver's license and ability to perform all job-related travel.
  • Ability to pass background check, fingerprints, and drug screening.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple cases, and maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with diverse populations, including youth, families, and community partners.
