We are seeking a highly skilled Patient-Centered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Excelsior Wellness. About the Role

This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to identify mental health conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications to improve mental health outcomes.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including behavioral health specialists, therapists, and physicians, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote mental health and wellness.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • An active licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
  • An active credential as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active prescribing authority.
  • ANCC Board certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatric mental health nursing.
