Support will be provided to senior Maintenance Mechanics as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Accountable for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electromechanical systems within the plant, this role is vital for ensuring optimal operational uptime. Under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, the technician will follow stringent safety protocols and industry standards to enhance productivity.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electromechanical machinery. Efficiently diagnose and resolve complex issues related to electromechanical systems. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Inventory and Quality Assurance: Manage parts and equipment inventory. Ensure part specifications meet required standards. Confirm that all systems and equipment are safe for operation.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Complete and maintain necessary documentation and records. Uphold departmental cleanliness standards. Adhere to Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the training program for electromechanical technicians. Engage in cross-functional teams to enhance processes, methods, productivity, and quality while minimizing costs.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Technical degree in a relevant field, journeyman's certification, or over five years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician (electrical/mechanical).
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret complex documentation, operate and maintain electrical and mechanical testing tools, utilize precision measuring instruments, and handle hand and power tools. Proven troubleshooting capabilities and experience with welding/torch equipment.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members, emphasizing customer service.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs., and the ability to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with commissioning and troubleshooting Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs and Drives. Expertise in AC/DC motor maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
