Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and cardiac procedures/studies, accurately differentiating between normal and pathologic findings, and maintaining records in accordance with various regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and cardiac procedures/studies
  • Accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
  • Maintain records in accordance with various regulatory agencies
  • Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers
  • Work independently and manage simultaneous assignments
Requirements:
  • Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with OB/GYN issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Vascular Technologist (RVT) registration issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
