Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VIP Host to join our team at Sevenwinds Casino, Lodge and Conference Center. As a VIP Host, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service to our high-end players, building relationships, and driving revenue growth through upscale sales techniques and promotions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with VIP guests through in-person contact, phone, email, and correspondence.
- Utilize advanced sales techniques to invite guest participation in casino promotions and special events.
- Stay up-to-date on all casino promotions and events to provide guests with personalized experiences.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs, including transportation, accommodation arrangements, and general information.
- Leverage partnerships throughout the property to maximize smooth, high-end service delivery.
- Establish, coordinate, and lead VIP events on and off property.
- Handle difficult guests and situations in a calm, professional, and prudent manner.
- Reward guests with F&B, lodging, event tickets, or retail comps based on their level of play.
- Effectively handle guest questions, concerns, and complaints.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a hospitality-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years in a guest service capacity or equivalent experience.
- Ability to think independently and make decisions to maximize customer service experience and program profitability.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Must have exceptional guest service skills and a systematic and process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent networking abilities and a strong understanding of the local community, including tourism and major events.
