As a Coating Applications Engineer at Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our coating processes and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the division superintendent and materials engineer to develop and uphold coating qualifications and applications.
- Design and implement robotic programming and automation techniques for thermal and air spray applications.
- Partner with Sales Representatives to establish project scopes and provide coating selections that align with machinery and customer specifications.
- Create comprehensive work scopes for coating projects, ensuring all necessary information regarding procedures, prints, tolerances, and critical dimensions is included.
- Design, procure, and manufacture the necessary fixturing and tooling to facilitate safe and efficient project execution.
- Actively engage in and support company initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD (3D/2D).
- Experience with robotics is essential.
