Description

Key Responsibilities

Food Production

• Ensure all menu items are correctly prepared to recipe and presented in an attractive manner.

• Utilize proper serving guidelines and carryover procedures.

• Forecast food production and implement the Food Production system.

• Maintain a working knowledge of all recipes, products, production procedures, and timing.

Guest Satisfaction

• Assist in ensuring guest satisfaction when dining in the restaurant, with the purpose of increasing guest count and building sales.

• Run a shift in the General Manager's or Associate General Manager's absence.

• Create an environment of hassle-free convenience for guests when dining in the restaurant or picking up a carry-out order.

Sanitation and Safety

• Maintain Health Department and Company sanitation policies and procedures to ensure all food is free from contamination and illness-causing bacteria.

• Communicate these standards effectively to employees.

• Obtain ServSafe Certification.

Administration

• Complete all daily paperwork relating to each shift.

• Ensure company cash control guidelines are followed.

• Improve restaurant operations against operating standards based on Shoppers Report scores.

Human Resources

• Assist in recruiting job applicants to meet manpower staffing needs.

• Maintain hourly employee records and file in an orderly state with all proper forms and records.

• Monitor days off for Hourly employees.

Training

• Participate in the 6-week long training program for new hires.

• Assist in training catering staff.

• Participate in weekly Management meetings.

• Conduct yourself in a way that commands the highest respect from all who come into contact with you.

• Act in the best interest of the Company, comply with the spirit and letter of the laws that apply to the business, and not engage in any activities that compete with the goals of the Company.
