Job Title: District Nurse Supervisor

VNS Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of District Nurse Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day business operations of clinical and non-clinical support activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor workflow procedures and systems to ensure timely and responsive operations.
  • Troubleshoot difficult customer service issues and facilitate problem resolution.
  • Assist in the development of long- and short-range objectives for the department.
  • Provide input to the Education and Quality department regarding training needs.
  • Participate in workflow reengineering, process improvement, risk mitigation, and computer application development activities.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and VNS Health standards.
Requirements:
  • License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other health-related degree.
  • Minimum three years progressive customer service or business operations experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
