About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled GIS Automation Developer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a GIS Automation Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions for GIS applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated testing scripts using GIS tools and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools
  • Identify and report defects and issues in GIS applications
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in GIS testing and automation
  • Strong knowledge of GIS concepts, tools, and technologies
  • Experience with Precisely Geocode API, GIS Data analysts, Spatial Analysts, and Core Java (JAVA 7 or 8)
  • Proficiency in Selenium, TestNG, and Protractor framework
  • Good knowledge of SOAP UI and Jenkins configuration
  • Experience with database concepts (Oracle, PostGIS)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS and OpenSearch fuzzy API
  • Knowledge of web services concepts
