Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to join our team at Terracon. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for managing and executing small to medium projects, as well as providing engineering and consulting services to a broad array of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and consulting services for various projects and clients.
  • Perform and/or lead field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations.
  • Design and develop plans and specifications, observe and inspect construction, and write reports.
  • Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, and recommend changes.
  • Research and resolve design and construction problems.
  • Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports.
  • Communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) required and ability to obtain a registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
