Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production activities in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Supervise a team of production employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the achievement of production goals and objectives.
  • Monitor work activities and identify opportunities for process improvements, recommending strategies to enhance equipment and worker performance, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain positive employee relations, consistently applying company policies and practices across the work group.
  • Collaborate with the plant and/or production manager to develop and implement production improvement strategies.
  • Supervise department areas, including Receive and Soil Sort/Classification, Wash Dry Aisle, Garment Finishing/Sortation Press and Steam, and Bundle and Distribution.
Requirements
  • Strong indication of capability to work safely and conscientiously in a fast-paced, loud work environment with machinery.
  • Proved record of work attendance.
  • Capability of reading and understanding work instructions in English.
  • Basic math reasoning skills.
  • Lifting ability up to 50 pounds; push/pull ability up to 300 pounds assisted.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of industrial laundry experience.
  • Spoken familiarity with prevalent language of production team.
