Everence is a leading provider of financial services, committed to helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team and help us protect our clients' sensitive information.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security, with experience in maintaining web filter rules, implementing security policies and protocols, and working with desktop and server patching systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain web filter rules according to established standards.
  • Implement security policies and protocols for sensitive data labeling, inventory, archiving, and protection.
  • Work with desktop and server patching systems to ensure system updates and vulnerability management.
  • Oversee the phishing program to prevent security breaches.
  • Collaborate with teammates on email encryption and other IT tasks as needed.
  • Perform other security and IT-related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Information Technology, or related field.
  • IT administration experience, including working with Windows file servers, Microsoft O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft SCCM, and Microsoft Data Management, including Purview.
  • Experience planning, testing, implementing, and documenting new hardware and software systems.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment and management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management.
  • Understanding of GLBA and HIPAA requirements related to data security and privacy is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including articulation and communication with all levels within the organization professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to meet deadlines when dealing with patching and security vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and well-organized with high accuracy when working with security policies, procedures, and inventory systems.
  • Maintain strict confidence in company and client information.
  • Continually update skills and company product and service knowledge for professional growth.
  • Availability to work periodic nights and weekends may be required.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 per year
