Job Title: Beverage Server

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Overview: This role involves working at both fixed and mobile bars within the arena and convention center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute duties in alignment with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Restock supplies at a designated bar.
  • Set up and dismantle mobile bar stations.
  • Verify customer age and identification.
  • Craft and serve a variety of mixed beverages.
  • Utilize a point-of-sale system for customer transactions.
  • Replace CO2 tanks and beer kegs in dispensing equipment.
  • Provide drink recommendations based on extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized workspace.
  • Alert management when inventory items are running low.
  • Handle cash transactions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or G.E.D. or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a bartending role is mandatory.

Skills and Competencies:

Ability to mix drinks accurately, communicate effectively with customers, and replace CO2 tanks and kegs. The position necessitates standing, walking, and lifting up to 80 pounds. Flexibility to work late hours, weekends, and holidays is essential.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods and use hands for handling or feeling. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
