Job Title: Beverage Server

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Overview: This role involves working at both fixed and mobile bars within the arena and at portable setups in the convention center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute duties in alignment with the organization's policies and relevant regulations.
  • Restock a designated bar area.
  • Assemble and disassemble a mobile bar setup.
  • Confirm customer age and identification.
  • Craft and serve classic cocktails.
  • Utilize a POS system to process customer transactions.
  • Replace CO2 tanks and beer kegs in a kegerator.
  • Provide drink recommendations based on knowledge of various alcoholic beverages.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
  • Alert management when supplies such as beer, wine, liquor, and other essentials are low.
  • Prepare cash receipts.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Bartender is required.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to mix drinks accurately, communicate effectively with customers, and change CO2 tanks and kegs. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 80 pounds. Must be available to work late hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods and use hands for various tasks. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
