Flood Insurance Litigation Attorney Job Description

Kuhn Raslavich, P.A. is a plaintiff's civil litigation firm seeking a mid to senior-level attorney experienced in handling and litigating flood insurance claims. The attorney will handle cases where the firm represents property owners in flood insurance and other first-party insurance disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and arguing motions to resolve flood insurance disputes.
  • Drafting pleadings and discovery documents to gather evidence and build a strong case.
  • Taking and defending depositions to gather information and protect the firm's clients.
  • Attending mediations to resolve disputes through negotiation and compromise.
  • Conducting trials to present the firm's case to a judge or jury.
  • Participating in firm-sponsored marketing events to promote the firm's services and attract new clients.
Requirements:
  • Active member of the Florida Bar.
  • At least two (2) years of flood insurance litigation experience.
  • Experience in drafting and arguing dispositive and discovery motions.
  • Excellent research and writing abilities.
  • Experience with Westlaw and Microsoft Office products.
  • Deposition and mediation experience.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated individual capable of operating under minimal supervision.
