  • Conduct safety inspections and prepare safety documents as required by regulations.
  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in trailer maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to use hand tools and test equipment.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Knowledge of general repairs and PM criteria.
  • Ability to keep up with changing technology and updates.
  • Mechanical ability and interest in electronics and precision equipment.
  • Physical stamina to work with heavy equipment and in awkward positions.
  • Valid CDL and acceptable MVR if driving on public roads.
  • Registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse if CDL holder.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
  • Self-starting and organized.
  • Strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work any shift, including nights and weekends, in any weather condition.
  • Ability to lift approximately 70 lbs. or more if required by the job.
  • Compliance with all company policies, rules, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
  • Ability to interact well with others.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Capability to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
Work Environment:

The work environment for this role will involve working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. The employee may be required to work in high/precarious places, with hazardous materials, and in various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to loud as required by the job.
