Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Assistant Certified Professional to join our team at University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a member of our clinical support team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing various administrative tasks, such as answering phones, managing charts, and coordinating appointments
  • Assisting with medical procedures, including phlebotomy, ear irrigation, and EKGs
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
