Responsibilities: ", "ul": [{"li": "Provide initial comprehensive needs assessments to new clients, and set up intake appointments, including scheduling, adding the client to SLMH records systems, and preparing intake paperwork."}, {"li": "Be the first point of contact for clients at the Recovery Center, including answering phones, greeting clients upon arrival, checking clients in for appointments, verifying and updating client information."}, {"li": "Verify insurance/payment statuses for clients, and conduct ongoing verification of coverage. Educate clients surrounding payment options for the Recovery Services Program, including identifying potential eligibility for OHP and referring to the Outpatient Administrative Specialist for enrollment support as necessary."}, {"li": "Maintain, track and schedule client assessment updates. Coordinate with clinicians to ensure timely submission of updates."}, {"li": "Ensure that all medical records and documentation, such as client status, assignments, episodes, and closings, are entered appropriately into our electronic medical records system, including conducting file health reviews and collecting any missing information."}, {"li": "Ensure that appropriate releases of information are signed and up to date."}, {"li": "Ensure that appropriate information is entered into the electronic medical records system to allow for required reporting on client demographics, service delivery, and treatment information, and interface with external parties to provide data as needed (ROADS, Status Reports, Grant Reporting)"}, {"li": "Support regular team meetings and ensure that all client information and changes from meetings are appropriately recorded."}, {"li": "Maintain the office environment, including ensuring that shared areas are welcoming to clients and staff, coordinating the ordering of supplies and furnishing, maintaining office equipment, and overseeing office petty cash."}, {"li": "Ensure that Recovery Program billing activities are appropriately recorded and submitted to SLMH billing department."}, {"li": "Conduct individual and group peer support sessions with clients of SLMH\u2019s SUDS Program, including those with a dual diagnosis of substance use and other mental health diagnosis, those suffering from chronic pain and substance use, and/or adolescent substance use."}, {"li": "Understand and plan intervention strategies for a variety of individuals, utilizing knowledge of a variety of therapeutic models and theories."}, {"li": "Monitor individual progress and make or suggest changes to the therapeutic approach and best practice, evidence-based interventions based on individual\u2019s response to treatment."}, {"li": "Work collaboratively with the client and appropriate others to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses priority needs of the individual, desired treatment outcomes, an agreed-upon plan of action, and reassessment."}, {"li": "Assist with providing an appropriate milieu and supports for successful recovery, including providing assistance with ensuring clients are meeting basic needs such as food and shelter, including coordinating and cooperating with local agencies and organizations necessary to expedite treatment for each individual."}, {"li": "Understand that many clients have been traumatized and strive to constantly provide services from a respectful, trauma-informed perspective."}, {"li": "Maintain strict client confidentiality as required by 42 CFR Part 2."}, {"li": "Complete all required paperwork, including notes on each session, group, and individual client paperwork as well as screening assessments, in a timely manner."}, {"li": "Meet requirements regarding productivity and dependability."}, {"li": "Coordinate with co-workers and treatment teams, including participating in complex case reviews as necessary."}, {"li": "Actively participate in clinical supervision, as well as team and staff meetings."}, {"li": "Engage in continuing education activities and trainings, and continually building therapeutic skills."}, {"li": "Participate in completeness and quality reviews as required."}, {"li": "As required, positively represent SLMH in the community and with other service providers, and/or act as a liaison with other organizations or with internal committees/cross-departmental teams."}, {"li": "Perform all duties in a respectful and responsible manner, both with clients and coworkers, and in a manner that meets all professional ethical standards."}, {"li": "Additional duties as requested."}], "h3": "Requirements: ", "ul": [{"li": "Bachelor\u2019s degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling."}, {"li": "Experience working in a mental health or substance use treatment setting, preferably in a peer support or administrative role."}, {"li": "Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and external partners."}, {"li": "Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion."}, {"li": "Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and other software applications relevant to the role."}, {"li": "Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines."}, {"li": "Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances."}, {"li": "Strong commitment to trauma-informed care and cultural humility."}, {"li": "Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment."}, {"li": "Willingness to engage in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge."}]}
