About the Role:
LPL Financial Holdings, Inc. is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Infrastructure Platform Engineer. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Operations team, you will be responsible for managing Non-Prod and Prod systems on cloud or on-prem. Your primary focus will be on increasing automation, ensuring systems are reliable and scalable, and proactively resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Non-Prod and Prod systems on cloud or on-prem
- Help increase automation and ensure systems are reliable and scalable
- Proactively resolve issues and take an engineering approach to infrastructure and operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
- Good understanding of at least one programming language (i.e. C++ or Java)
- Good understanding of networking technology (i.e. Routers, Switches)
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts (i.e. AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experiences such as an internship, hackathon, research project or related experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
