Job Title: Product Owner - Digital Transformation

Overview:

The Product Owner is a key member of the Digital Transformation team, responsible for ensuring that project requirements are gathered, documented, and translated into actionable tasks for technical development staff. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with subject matter experts to document and translate business processes and requirements into actionable tasks for technical development staff.
  • Collaborate with project development teams to ensure that all requirements are understood and translated.
  • Facilitate productive, professional, and collaborative communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings for all project stakeholders and document and share meeting notes and action items post-meeting.
  • Ensure the execution of deliverables and that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Maintain orderly and transparent systems for storing, referencing, and updating project templates and artifacts.
  • Perform analysis on projects to identify and address risks and opportunities throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensure all project activities and outputs comply with the Data Use and Security Policy, HIPAA regulations, and all user/access management policies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project vendor communications to ensure that vendor activities and interactions are timely and productive.
  • Coordinate all necessary purchasing and contract management activities for projects.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and stakeholders to document, translate, and communicate technological aspects of projects.
  • Track and report on project progress to all stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify, document, and operationalize lessons learned.

Qualifications:

PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) must be attained within 6 months of hire. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Healthcare, or Business required. Masters degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required, to include at least 1 year working in a healthcare organization, at least 1 year coordinating tasks across multiple individuals/groups on long-term projects, and at least 3 years in a role requiring work with data or supporting and/or developing applications.
