About the Role

Clean Harbors, a leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services, is seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Specialist IV to join our team in Hampden, ME.

This challenging role involves performing hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials with minimal supervision.

As a key member of our safety-conscious team, you will be responsible for ensuring Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects
  • Operate light and heavy equipment, handle various hand tools, and powered industrial tools
  • Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection
  • Work in various temperatures, indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions
  • Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters
  • Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications:
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform physical functions as described above
  • 2 years of experience in Field Service Technician work
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination
Benefits:
