Opportunity for a Clinical Dietitian PRN

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional who is passionate about creating positive patient interactions and dedicated to caring for the well-being of others.

About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating all phases of nutritional care for inpatients and outpatients of all ages. You will maintain high standards of nutritional care and coordinate with all caregivers to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform nutritional assessments, evaluations, and planning
* Calculate and record meal patterns
* Maintain nutritional care plans, review medical records, and correlate medical care to nutritional care
* Interpret and implement diet prescriptions, calculate nutrients, and prepare individual meal plans
* Participate in daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Services department, including meal service, customer satisfaction, quality improvement projects, department education, sanitation, and service
* Develop and gather nutritional counseling materials and provide in-patient and out-patient counseling for patients and family members

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
* Licensed by the State of Texas or obtain license within 4 months of hire
* Registered/eligible with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is around $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
