Soldering Technician

We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing electronic components, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

• Inspect electronic components for accuracy and solderability
• Perform first article checks to ensure components match bill-of-material descriptions
• Repair defects in line and enter defect data into CIQ system
• Maintain accurate daily logs and move/production tickets
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Work under direct supervision, with guidance from immediate supervisor or Group Leader
• Ensure assigned area is clean and organized
• Operate personal computer and use Windows-based operating system and related software

• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages
• Ability to read and understand visual aids
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw and interpret graphs
