We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at A First Name Basis Home Care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their homes.
Responsibilities- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Transport clients to appointments and engage in social activities
- Provide personal care, including toileting and bathing
- Follow a plan of care and communicate with families and healthcare professionals
- Successful clearance of health screens as required by state regulations
- Successful clearance of state and company background and reference checks
- Must have at least 12 hours of availability/weekly
- Dedicated, reliable, patient, and sensitive to the needs of the elderly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
