We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our property, ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a timely basis, including plumbing, electrical work, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Work within established expense limits to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Maintain inventory controls to optimize cost savings.
  • Carry a pager/cell phone for on-call maintenance and alert the Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Facilities of any unusual occurrences or damage.
  • Ensure safety standards are met and comply with all company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness in monitoring own work.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Consistently at work and on time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/carry 50-75 pounds.
  • Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching.
  • Requires climbing and balancing.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other outdoor conditions.
