About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Foreman to oversee the daily operations of piping projects, from planning to execution. As a key member of our team, you will manage teams, delegate tasks, ensure client expectations are met, and ensure that deadlines are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of various piping systems, including refrigerant piping, split systems, air handlers, and more.
  • Manage and direct on-site personnel, including journeymen and apprentices, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Mentor and coach employees, fostering a culture of growth and development within your team.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Piping Foreman in commercial HVAC construction, including design, construction, budgeting, and management.
  • Extensive experience with various types of piping systems; expertise in hydronics is highly desirable.
  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Proven experience in overseeing and managing job site personnel, including the ability to mentor and coach journeymen and apprentices.
  • Strong familiarity with mechanical drawings and commercial construction projects.
  • Foundational understanding of building systems and their integration with HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical School, Trade School, or Apprenticeship Program Certifications are a plus.
