Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities- Operate angiographic equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, including biopsies, para/thoracentesis, and abscess drainages.
- Assist physicians with basic interventional and surgical procedures, receiving direction and guidance.
- Monitor patients and alert staff to life-threatening changes in patient status, applying defibrillators and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed.
- Process images, ensuring diagnostic quality, and assist with equipment maintenance to maintain consistent image quality.
- Compare requisitions to physician orders to ensure accurate exam procedures.
- Post-process images, accurately identifying and labeling patient information, and document billing codes for procedures performed.
- Perform patient positioning and transporting duties, utilizing proper technique and adhering to safety protocols.
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained within 6 months.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained within 6 months.
